Featured Artists Program

Advocates for the West‘s Featured Artists Program seeks to promote western artists and their work while highlighting the special places and iconic species that are the focal points of our legal advocacy. Through these partnerships, we seek to elevate artists whose captivating photography, paintings, and illustrations demand action to protect the West’s natural treasures.

Artists’ work is included in print publications, electronic newsletters, other digital channels (website and social media), and special projects such as posters, notecards, and other printed materials. Many of these projects also include events and exhibitions focused on the artists’ work.

By providing artists a platform to showcase their work, we seek to leverage the power of the arts to bring about change by creating awareness and encouraging action.

Artists are selected by our staff based on their alignment with our values of promoting a more biodiverse and environmentally just West, and receive payment for use of their work.
