Sarah is a staff attorney in Advocates for the West‘s Boise office. Her practice focuses on public lands issues throughout the West, including oil and gas development and conservation of the iconic greater sage-grouse.
Sarah received her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School, where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Michigan Journal of Environmental and Administrative Law and student attorney with Michigan’s Environmental Law Clinic. Prior to joining Advocates for the West, Sarah served as a law clerk for the Honorable B. Lynn Winmill of the U.S. District Court for the District of Idaho. She holds a B.A. in Economics, summa cum laude, from Whitman College.
Sarah hails from Illinois and fell in love with wild places while canoeing Minnesota’s Boundary Waters. Outside of work, you can find her exploring Idaho’s rivers and sagebrush country with her family and Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, Tilly.
