Danielle Murray (Durango, CO)
With over 15 years of experience in national legal, policy, and legislative work, Danielle is a seasoned leader in the conservation and public lands space. She currently serves as the Founder and CEO of the Public Lands Center, an independent consulting firm dedicated to advancing results-driven strategies that protect and preserve America’s public lands.
Before launching the Public Lands Center in 2024, Danielle led high-profile legal and policy campaigns at the Conservation Lands Foundation. Her expertise spans grassroots organizing, coalition building, legislative advocacy, and briefing Congress, federal agencies, and the media.
Danielle began her legal career as a judicial law clerk in the Delaware Superior Court. She holds a Juris Doctor and a Master of Studies in Environmental Law from Vermont Law School, where she was a Dean’s Fellow and editor of the Vermont Journal of Environmental Law. She earned her B.S. in Wildlife Conservation, with a minor in Biology, from the University of Delaware.
Based in Durango, CO, Danielle enjoys spending her free time exploring the public lands and rivers of the American West with her family and two dogs.
