Coming Together Over Your Public Lands – November 28th
Monday, November 28th – 5 to 7pm
Ming Studios – Boise Downtown (420 S. 6th St.)
In the past weeks, we’ve seen several significant developments that relate to public lands – including the verdict in the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge standoff and the 2016 elections.
Join us on Monday, November 28th from 5 to 7pm for an Idaho Conservation League sponsored event tackling the topic of public lands in Idaho and the West. Executive Director Laird Lucas participates in a panel discussion with Jonathan Oppenheimer, ICL’s government relations director; Rocky Barker, the Idaho Statesman’s environmental and energy reporter; and Rialin Flores, staff lobbyist for Conservation Voters for Idaho.
We’ll share unique perspectives and outlooks on public land issues in the months and years to come – exploring what do Idahoans really want, how do we get there in the face of a new political dynamic, and what are some issues that are likely to arise in the 2017 Idaho legislative session?
