Britt DavisAdvocates for the West is a nonprofit, public interest environmental law firm based in Boise with offices in Portland, OR and Washington, DC. With an 85% record of success, we are committed to winning for the West.
In 2016, we’re ramping up our efforts to enforce the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act and Clean Water Act through a series of cases in Idaho, which include:
• Protecting the Selway Wild & Scenic River from commercial logging.
• Continuing efforts to keep Big Oil’s “mega-loads” off Highway 12.
• Halting mining exploration on the Boise River, Big Creek and others.
• Barring suction dredge miners from disrupting riverbeds throughout the state. We’ve won rounds on each case, but these fights aren’t over yet. 2016 promises to be a pivotal year for our Idaho river work – and we need your help!Come learn about our cases and how you can help. If you are unable to attend, we hope you will make a gift in support of this important work.
Thank you for being an advocate for the West!
