Anna joined Advocates for the West in 2012. An Idaho native, she has a long history of working with Idaho nonprofits including Trey McIntyre Project, Zoo Boise, Story Story Night, and the McCall-Donnelly Education Foundation.
Before starting her career in fundraising and communications for nonprofits, Anna taught at an outdoor education school for at-risk youth; wrote reviews and feature articles for Boise Weekly and Idaho Arts Quarterly; and helped organize visual and performing arts shows for various Boise galleries and collectives.
In addition to her work with Advocates for the West, she is the owner and creator of Anthea Skincare, an organic product line featuring wild harvested and locally cultivated botanicals, which she collects when hiking around the Rocky Mountains.
Anna earned a BA in Writing from Boise State University, and received certification in wilderness survival from the Outward Bound Leadership School in Chile.
